logocrestA disputed penalty 10 minutes from time denied Saints all three points against Harpenden Town.

Harpenden took the lead on the hour seconds after Saints had hit the bar . Shaun Shields  equalised for the home side soon after the restart.

A Sam Barker strike from outside the box gave Saints a deserved lead after 75 minutes but  Saints conceded a "soft " penalty to share the points.

Reserves In Action Tonight

logocrestSt Albans City Reserves take on Harpenden Town tonight (Tuesday 31st) at Clarence Park. The reserves will feature several first teamers. Kick-off is 7:45pm and the clubhouse will be open from 6pm.
 
Reserves Win At Cranfield

The Reserves travelled to Cranfield and were forced into making 6 changes from the last game.
An impressive defensive performance ensured that the Saints kept their first clean sheet of the season whilst a Dom Petrucci goal early in the second half was enough to win the 3 points.

The reserves next game is home to Harpenden Town on Tuesday 31st August. Kick-off at Clarence Park is 7:45pm.

 
Reserves In Narrow Defeat

logocrestThe Reserves suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against high flying Hoddesdon last night at Clarence Park.

The visitors took the lead on the stroke of half time but Saints reacted superbly dominating the second half despite falling further behind to a second goal against the run of play.

Richard Maton pulled a goal back with 20 minutes remaining and despite pushing hard,having a goal disallowed, the young Saints couldn't get the equalizer their play deserved.

 
Reserves Kick Off This Saturday

logocrestSt Albans City Reserves, coached by ex first team player Alexis Nicolas, kick-off their first season in the Spartan South Midlands League Division 1 this coming Saturday (7th August) with the visit of Stony Stratford Town to Clarence Park.

Admission for reserve games is £4 adults and £1 concessions. The Clubhouse will be open throughout the game.
