The 2010-11 season was a frustrating campaign for the teenager with his season starting and ending with injury.

paul furlong Joined City on the eve of the season and scored with his first touch 24-hours later during the win over Cirencester Town. Began with Enfield before embarking on a successful career in the Football League with Coventry City, Watford, Chelsea, Birmingham City, Southend United, Queens Park Rangers, Luton Town and Barnet. Spent last season with Kettering Town and is currently coach to the QPR U13’s.

Scored City’s first goal of the new campaign.

During his first spell at Clarence Park he played in the 1st Round of the FA Cup, the 4th Round of the FA Trophy and collected a Herts Senior Cup winners medal, was also voted Player of the Year for 2000-01. After leaving the Saints he spent seven years with Boreham Wood and one with Braintree Town. Returned to St Albans from the Wood during the recent close season and made his 150th appearance during September.

davidhowell145 Appointed St Albans City manager during the summer after spending eight years in charge at Harrow Borough. As a player he began his career with Fulham before moving into the non-league game to play for the likes of Hillingdon Borough, Hounslow, Harrow Borough, Enfield and Barnet. Scored for Enfield in the final of the FA Trophy in 1988 and three years later helped Barnet get into the Football League. Forged a close relationship with Barry Fry at Barnet and went with him to Southend United and Birmingham City. Ended his playing days with brief stint at Stevenage Borough. Played 14 times for, and captained, the England semi-professional side.
