A healthy crowd of 606 enjoyed an exciting Boxing Day derby at Clarence Park, with Saints extending their unbeaten record to three games thanks to a 1-1 draw with Chesham United.

Danny Hart's crisp strike five minutes before half time gave City the lead and hopes of making it three wins from their last three games.

Chesham, currently occupying a play-off place in fifth position, responded with Rob Bartley's excellent overhead kick nine minutes into the second half.

Paul Furlong almost grabbed a winner for Saints but saw his lob saved late on to leave City having to settle for seven points from the last three games, a run that will send them to Weymouth on New Year's Eve in good heart.

Full report to follow.
