Saints fought out a thrilling 1-1 draw with Evo-Stik Southern Premier leaders Brackley Town at Clarence Park today.

Sean Shields gave City a third-minute lead by tucking home Danny Hart's low cross before Josh Green headed home the equaliser from a corner three minutes later.

The game could have gone either way after that, with Nick Jupp making some fine saves in the home goal, and Saints finishing the stronger, Billy Turley saving at close range from substitute Sakho Bakare and David Ijaha shooting just over.

The point, building on last week's 4-1 win over Evesham, moves Saints up a place to 11th ahead of Tuesday's visit to Chippenham.

Full report to folow later.
