logocrestSaints second string secured a well deserved victory beating Tokyngton Manor 1-0 to end a three match losing sequence.
Saints fielded an interesting mix of youth and experience. Trialist Central defender Moussa Diarra particularly impressed as did MWY central midfielder Harry Carr.

The home side dominated from the opening whistle without making any clear cut chances. But the breakthrough eventually came and was expertly taken by Tremayne Charles in 32nd minute when he spotted the away keeper off his line following a clearance. Charles made a good connection with his right foot as he lobbed into the net from around 40 yards!
The second half consisted of Saints pushing for more goals without success as Charles,Bent,Scott and Taylor went close.
The away side were flattered by the scoreline as the three points went to Saints.
Manager Franco Sidoli " that was a pleasing win for us . Recent results have disappointed but hopefully we can now string a decent run together".

Next up is a Herts Intermediate Cup Quarter Final versus Kimpton Rovers at home on Tuesday night . Kick off 7.45pm
