Striker Rob Haworth is joining Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division neighbours Hemel Hempstead Town for a month.

Rob has been recovering from a hamstring injury and manager David Howell has agreed to let him regain his match fitness at Vauxhall Road.

"Rob remains a popular and important member of our squad but it is better that he goes and gets some game time rather than sit on our bench," said Howell.

"We have reached an agreement with Hemel that he will help them out over the next month and we will review the situation after that. I am told he is on 199 appearances for Saints so we will hope he can make it 200 before the end of the season."

The whole-hearted Haworth, 36, who is in his second spell at Clarence Park, has become a firm favourite at the club again after scoring City's opening goal of the 2011/12 campaign, against Cirencester. He has to date made 17 appearances, scoring five goals.
