TWO super strikes from French striker Sakho Bakare fired Saints to an impressive 2-1 win over high-flyers Leamington at Clarence Park.

In-form Bakare drilled home via the underside of the crossbar after just eight minutes to give City the lead and he added a second 12 minutes from time with a low drive from 18 yards to make his tally three goals in two games.

Brakes' substitute David Kolodynski pulled back a goal for the visitors with a neat overhead kick but Saints held on for another significant win.

Following the 4-0 win at Heml Hempstead on Monday, Saints have now taken 13 points from their last six games and move to within seven points of the play-offs.
